HIMEL round silos
are suitable for indoor installation. They are made of galvanised corrugated
sheet metal with a high zinc coating and are the most cost-effective silo type
from HIMEL for the gentle storage of grain and pulses.
- The stable silos for indoor installation can hold up to 300 tonnes and are
supplied as a modular system for easy self-assembly with bolts.
- Due to the special corrugation of the sheet metal, the walls of the round-
silos are only subjected to low loads. This design effectively prevents the silo
rings from buckling. Useful accessories include supports (standard from a height
of 4.20 m), access door, removal pipe and the hopper base.
- The basic equipment for ventilation, blower connection with Ø150 mm (Ø300 mm)
silo feed-through and galvanised ventilation ducts with end cover
- Removal takes place via a screw conveyor, a suction & pressure grain blower
or via a hopper substructure
